Whilst staying in Ambleside for a week with Hilary, I took the opportunity to walk up this single hill. The walk firstly took in Stockghyll Force Waterfall.
It was then a pleasant ascent upto Wansfell Pike, with views back to Windermere and Ambleside.
Once at Wansfell, one has to head out to Baystones the actual Wainright peak.
