A second walk during our short camping holiday at Low Wray Campsite on Lake Windermere. Hilary and Sophie with me to tick off one of the low lake district fells. The start of the walk is from Skelwith Bridge Hotel passing by Loughrigg Tarn.
We then start up an incline along the road before turning up hill to the fell with views of Grasmere and Rydal Waters. Sophie as usual is ahead of us egging us on to be quicker.
The top is soon reached, with Hilary tapping the top of the trigg point.
We descend with a leisurely walk along a well marked path returning to the car at Skelwith Bridge.
