Today Hilary and I help Sophie celebrate her 1st birthday. So her first lake district walk is up the appropriately named Catbells – short but delightful. We start at the parking near Hawes End and follow the usual ridge line up.
Great weather and views give Sophie plenty of opportunity to pose and prove what a good dog she is.
Once at the top Sophie obliges both Hilary and I by just about staying still long enough to be captured having her first Wainwright ticked off.
We then drop down towards Derwent water and follow the path and road back to the car.
