Just 2 ‘outlying’ peaks left to complete the Far Eastern Fells book, however they are not close enough for a single walk, so it’s off to Selside for the first of these. The walk starts from Wet Sledale Reservoir on a beautiful summers day.
From the reservoir I walk up to Sledale Hall and then along past Seat Robert towards Mosedale Beck
It’s then down to Swindale Head and Beck before a trek over the fells back to the reservoir. Not easy to pick ones way along this path.
